A poacher must be tough, resourceful, and intuitive to survive in the harsh African bush. He also must be able to survive on the bare minimum.

Professional hunter Guav Johnson from Classic African Hunting and his team caught a poacher in the Matetsi Safari Area in Zimbabwe.

The poacher showed them to his camp, and besides the cache of meat he had stockpiled from the animals he had poached, the team recovered his backpack.

Guav looked through the backpack to examine the essentials a poacher needs to survive.
