Central African Forests: Poaching and Cattle Invasion Issues (7-Minute Video)

Not every anti-poaching unit has the resources to fully equip their team to the required level, but they do the necessary work anyway with what they have. The hunting outfitter Safaria has a concession in the central part of Cameroon. Jonathan Feroul is the professional hunter in this concession, and part of his duties involves running the anti-poaching unit.

Six full-time team members are on the team, and reinforcements can be called upon if necessary. The team has two 12-gauge shotguns, which are only used for their protection and, if necessary, to scare off poachers if they feel threatened.

Cheap Chinese motorbikes are the main form of transport as they are much easier and more convenient to use than pickup trucks.
